Terms of Service — End User License Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms" or "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MajaLabs LLC ("MajaLabs", "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the myFPL application and website (collectively, the "Service" or "Licensed Application"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Licensed Application is licensed, not sold, to you. Your license to use myFPL is subject to your prior acceptance of this Agreement.

1. Description of Service

myFPL is a third-party assistant application for Fantasy Premier League ("FPL"). The Service provides tools for squad optimization, transfer recommendations, live gameweek tracking, fixture difficulty analysis, AI-generated weekly reports, and league standings viewing.

Disclaimer: myFPL is an unofficial, independent project developed by MajaLabs LLC. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Premier League, Fantasy Premier League, or any associated entities.

2. License

2.1 Scope of License

MajaLabs LLC ("Licensor") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Licensed Application on devices that you own or control, as permitted by the applicable platform's usage rules (including the Apple App Store Terms of Service and the Google Play Terms of Service). This license does not allow you to use the Licensed Application on any device that you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make the Licensed Application available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time.

2.2 License Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Licensed Application
  • Reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Licensed Application (except to the extent that such restriction is prohibited by applicable law)
  • Transfer, redistribute, or sublicense the Licensed Application
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices in the Licensed Application

2.3 Updates

The terms of this Agreement will govern any updates or upgrades provided by the Licensor that replace or supplement the original Licensed Application, unless such update is accompanied by separate terms.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to create an account or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3.2 Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account using a valid email address and password.

3.3 Team ID Linking

You will link your FPL Team ID to your account. You have a 24-hour grace period to change your Team ID after initial setup. After this period, the Team ID becomes locked to your account until the season reset.

3.4 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Season Pass and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

myFPL offers free access to core features including viewing your squad, live points, league standings, fixture schedules, and manual transfer planning.

4.2 Season Pass (Premium)

Premium features require a Season Pass, a one-time purchase that unlocks Premium access for the current FPL season. Premium features include transfer suggestions with grades, optimal lineup recommendations, AI-generated weekly analysis reports, Free Hit/Wildcard squad optimization, and "Best" sorting in player comparisons.

4.3 Platform Billing

When you purchase a Season Pass through a mobile application:

  • On Apple devices: Purchases are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system and are subject to Apple's terms and payment policies.
  • On Android devices: Purchases are processed through Google Play's billing system and are subject to Google Play's terms and payment policies.
  • On the web: Purchases are processed securely through our third-party payment processor.

You agree that the applicable platform (Apple or Google) is responsible for processing your payment transaction, and that MajaLabs LLC has no responsibility for any payment issues governed by the platform's terms.

4.4 Pricing

  • The standard Season Pass price is displayed at the point of purchase (subject to change)
  • We may occasionally offer promotional pricing at our discretion
  • Each Season Pass is a one-time purchase
  • Premium access expires at the end of the purchased FPL season

4.5 Refunds

  • Apple App Store: Refund requests for purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Google Play: Refund requests for purchases made through Google Play are handled by Google in accordance with Google Play's refund policies. To request a refund, visit your Google Play order history.
  • Web purchases: We generally do not offer refunds for mid-season purchases. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us at support@myfpl.co.

4.6 New Seasons

Each FPL season requires a separate Season Pass purchase. Your Season Pass does not automatically renew or carry over to future seasons.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Circumvent any access restrictions or security measures

6. Consent to Use of Data

You agree that the Licensor may collect and use technical data and related information—including but not limited to technical information about your device, system and application software, and peripherals—that is gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support, and other services related to the Licensed Application. The Licensor may use this information, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify you, to improve its products or to provide services or technologies to you.

7. Data and Accuracy

7.1 FPL Data

myFPL relies on data from the official Fantasy Premier League API. We do not control this data and cannot guarantee its accuracy, timeliness, or availability.

7.2 Recommendations

All suggestions, scores, and recommendations provided by the Service are for informational purposes only. They are generated by algorithmic models that may contain errors. We make no guarantees about the accuracy or effectiveness of our recommendations. Fantasy football outcomes are inherently unpredictable.

7.3 Betting Odds Data

Our fixture difficulty ratings incorporate third-party betting odds data. This data is provided for informational purposes only and should not be construed as gambling advice.

8. External Services

The Licensed Application may enable access to third-party services and websites (collectively, "External Services"), including the Fantasy Premier League API, AI service providers, and third-party data sources. You agree to use the External Services at your sole risk. MajaLabs LLC is not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of any third-party External Services, and shall not be liable for any such External Services. Data displayed by the Licensed Application or any External Service, including but not limited to player statistics and fixture information, is for general informational purposes only and is not guaranteed by the Licensor. You will not use the External Services in any manner that is inconsistent with the terms of this Agreement or that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party. External Services may not be available in all languages or in your country, and may not be appropriate or available for use in any particular location. The Licensor reserves the right to change, suspend, remove, disable, or impose access restrictions or limits on any External Services at any time without notice or liability to you.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Our Content

The myFPL application, including its design, code, algorithms, and branding, is owned by MajaLabs LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.

9.2 Third-Party Content

  • Premier League team names and player names are trademarks and property of their respective owners
  • Fantasy Premier League data belongs to the Premier League

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT USE OF THE LICENSED APPLICATION IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE LICENSED APPLICATION AND ANY SERVICES PERFORMED OR PROVIDED BY THE LICENSED APPLICATION ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE LICENSOR HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH RESPECT TO THE LICENSED APPLICATION AND ANY SERVICES, EITHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND/OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OF ACCURACY, OF QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND OF NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD-PARTY RIGHTS. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY THE LICENSOR SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY. SHOULD THE LICENSED APPLICATION OR SERVICES PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE ENTIRE COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR, OR CORRECTION.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR LIMITATIONS ON APPLICABLE STATUTORY RIGHTS OF A CONSUMER, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION AND LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR ANY OTHER COMMERCIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE LICENSED APPLICATION, HOWEVER CAUSED, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF THE LICENSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Without limiting the foregoing, we are not liable for:

  • Any decisions you make based on our recommendations
  • Financial losses from FPL performance
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Inaccuracies in player data, scores, or suggestions
  • FPL API downtime or changes

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE LICENSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES (OTHER THAN AS MAY BE REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW IN CASES INVOLVING PERSONAL INJURY) EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR PERSONAL INJURY, OR OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MajaLabs LLC and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

13. Service Availability

13.1 Uptime

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance windows, FPL API outages, or due to technical issues beyond our control.

13.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. For paid features, we will provide reasonable notice before discontinuation.

14. Maintenance and Support

The Licensor is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application, as specified in this Agreement or as required under applicable law. You acknowledge that Apple (for iOS) and Google (for Android) have no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application.

15. Product Claims

The Licensor, not Apple or Google, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have relating to the Licensed Application or your possession and/or use of the Licensed Application, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the Licensed Application fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

16. Season Lifecycle

16.1 End of Season

At the end of each Premier League season:

  • Premium access expires
  • User-generated content (reports, cached data) may be cleared

16.2 New Season

Each new season requires:

  • Re-linking your Team ID (if your team ID changed)
  • A new Season Pass purchase (if desired)

17. Termination and Account Deletion

17.1 Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time through the account settings within the application. No refunds will be issued for unused Premium access time.

17.2 Account Deletion

When you request account deletion:

  • Your account and associated personal data (email address, Team ID, subscription status) will be permanently deleted from our systems
  • Generated reports and cached data will be removed
  • Data that has been shared with third-party service providers may be retained per their respective data retention policies
  • Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained

You may also request account and data deletion via our website or by contacting support@myfpl.co. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

17.3 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in abusive or harmful behavior
  • Attempt to defraud the Service

17.4 Effect of Termination

Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Licensed Application.

18. Export Compliance

You may not use or otherwise export or re-export the Licensed Application except as authorized by United States law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Licensed Application was obtained. In particular, but without limitation, the Licensed Application may not be exported or re-exported (a) into any U.S.-embargoed countries, or (b) to anyone on the U.S. Treasury Department's Specially Designated Nationals List or the U.S. Department of Commerce Denied Persons List or Entity List. By using the Licensed Application, you represent and warrant that you are not located in any such country or on any such list. You also agree that you will not use the Licensed Application for any purposes prohibited by United States law.

19. U.S. Government End Users

The Licensed Application and related documentation are "Commercial Items," as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. §2.101, consisting of "Commercial Computer Software" and "Commercial Computer Software Documentation," as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. §12.212 or 48 C.F.R. §227.7202, as applicable. Consistent with these regulations, the Licensed Application is being licensed to U.S. Government end users (a) only as Commercial Items and (b) with only those rights as are granted to all other end users pursuant to the terms and conditions herein.

20. Platform Terms and Third-Party Beneficiaries

20.1 Acknowledgment of Platform Terms

You acknowledge that this Agreement is between you and MajaLabs LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple") or Google LLC ("Google"). MajaLabs LLC, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for the Licensed Application and the content thereof.

20.2 App Store

If you downloaded the Licensed Application from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application
  • In the event of any failure of the Licensed Application to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the Licensed Application to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the Licensed Application
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Licensed Application or your possession and/or use of the Licensed Application
  • In the event of any third-party claim that the Licensed Application or your possession and use of the Licensed Application infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, MajaLabs LLC, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement, and upon your acceptance of this Agreement, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof
  • You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Licensed Application (e.g., your wireless data service agreement)

20.3 Google Play

If you downloaded the Licensed Application from Google Play, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Google has no obligation to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the Licensed Application
  • Google is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Licensed Application
  • Google's liability in relation to the Licensed Application is limited as set forth in the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement
  • You must comply with Google Play's Terms of Service when using the Licensed Application

21. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

22. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, excluding its conflicts of law provisions. You and MajaLabs LLC agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the State of New Jersey to resolve any dispute or claim arising from this Agreement.

If you are a citizen of the European Union, Norway, Iceland, or Switzerland, the governing law and forum shall be the laws and courts of your usual place of residence.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

25. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and MajaLabs LLC with respect to the Licensed Application and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings regarding such subject matter.

By downloading, installing, or using myFPL, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
